Judging Criteria

Presentation Design and Flow
How effective was the organization and delivery of the presentation (eye contact, clear speech, cohesiveness, general preparation)? Is the team well-equipped to implement the solution?

Innovation
Does the solution employ a novel and unique approach to address the problem? Is the solution significantly distinct from existing products available/on the market?

Feasibility and Implementation
Could the proof of concept, prototype, or preliminary vision be realistically executed? Is it sustainable, viable, and economically/technologically feasible? Could the solution possibly be implemented by the track sponsors?

User Experience and Design
Did the team put thought into the user experience? How well-designed is the interface? Is it user-friendly? Does it try to fulfill the user’s needs?

Industry Impact
How significantly can the project improve lives across local and global communities? Does the project address a valid issue? Was there a clear effort to understand and present the background of the problem?

Complexity
How impressive was the hack? Was the technical problem the team tackled difficult? Did it use a particularly efficient technique, or did it require many different components?
